I AM A GOOD TEACHER!!!!

I marked a student’s essay, and they unfortunately failed.

I met with the student to give enhanced feedback about why they failed and how they could do better on future essays and on our exam. They fought me considerably on my feedback but resigned to accept the mark.

I just marked the student’s exam, and they received a first! Their overall mark went from a fail to a 2:1 (for non-British academia, this is the equivalent of a high B)!

I CAN TEACH WELL!!!! I’M A GOOD TEACHER!!!

…and I don’t want to teach, lol.

Now this is a good feeling for marking on a sunny Saturday afternoon after 2 weeks of gloomy snow!
