For non-Brits or non-people-who-have-lived-in-Britain, there are these amazing little cakes called French Fancies. In fact there are so amazing, a couple years ago the company started making giant French Fancy cakes.

It was my colleague’s birthday on Wednesday, and his partner came up with the grand idea of making our own giant French Fancy, because you know anything I make is ALWAYS superior to the mass marketed versions.
